Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial Too Controversial for TV

This banned Super Bowl commercial takes place at a restaurant.  Two chefs are seen discussing someone’s previously made meal while they are currently eating it. The camera shifts to the dinner table where a robot shows up and tells the person eating the meal that it is poisonous and an ambulance is on the way. They are informed that they most likely will not survive after their meal. The robot then tries to apologize with four bottle of Bud Light.
How could this be seen as offensive to certain cultures?
Do you believe that this commercial should have been aired? If so, Why?

Feed Your Flock- Banned Doritos and Pepsi Max Commercial

This controversial commercial for Doritos and Pepsi Max was to be played during the Super Bowl, but it was banned. The video shows the people of the church receiving the sacrament of Communion as Doritos, representing the bread, and Pepsi Max, representing the wine. These items are used to bring people into the Church so that the parish can pay it's bills. Do you think this video is offensive to people of this religion? Is it offensive to you? Do you think the advertisement is making fun of Christianity?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Everyone Is Doing It (Banned)

In this video, this man is explaining the new game coming out "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". There are two different ways that you can go with this video. The first way is the more apparent view of the video, where this old man is making very apparently vulgar comments about some unknown but insinuated topic. This is showing how the mind of many people automatically gravitate to the vulgar side of the discussion. However, at the end of the video, the call of duty sign comes up out of a black background showing that the whole time he was talking about the new game. Why do you think that the creators of the game allow the viewers to insinuate for the majority of the video that the video isn't about the game? Do you think this will help raise sales of the game or deplete the games sales?

I agree with what Sarah said about this video using simple words or images to pass information. Also the video maker uses different kinds of pictures to make a comparison between past and present. These formations throughout the whole video, which can let audiences, get point easily. In addition, most words are in white with black background. This visual impact is a way to getting noticed. Another thing I want to mention is that, the video maker uses some black dots to show specific areas in a global map. I appreciate this way because it is more perceptual. Now people in growing numbers are enjoying the benefits at school of the new scientific advances to education. However, technology is a reason which resulted educational unfairness in the world. This does not mean the most developed country has the most advanced education system. The modern society has stepped into information age, so that our goal of education is no longer just foster well-trained worker. I like this short video because it can promote a review of education.
